Description: Using novels is a very appealing and important part of TPRS. However, without some principles and strategies it can be very daunting and overwhelming. Luckily, it doesn’t have to feel that way! Come join us and learn about some grounding principles and fun strategies on how to scaffold your students’ way of reading on their own and enjoying it!

4. 4 Layers of Scaffolding to Independent Reading
5. Activities and Games for Before, During and After Reading 
6. Assessing in a Variety of Ways
7. Developing an FVR library

All participants will receive a certificate of completion with the number of hours completed (3 hours per day). A video recording will also be made available.
