SUMMARY:TPRS 401 - TPRS SOAR - FA2026 - From Advanced to Distinguished - “Becoming a Master story co-creator”
DESCRIPTION:Prerequisite: TPRS 301 (You may be eligible for an exemption. Reach out to the instructor\, Craig Sheehy – craig@tprsbooks.com – to find out.) \nThe TPRS SOAR course is the capstone course that will enable you with the skills to become a master story co-creator and apply them to a variety lesson types by: \n\nweekly focusing on different types of story (videos\, songs\, maps\, art\, etc)\nwriting new lessons based on sound principles\ncombining improv skills with the elements of masterful storytelling (adding suspense like an author would)\n\nThis is the culminating class and after passing a final assessment\, you will be officially TPRS certified. \nThis course will be offered on Thursdays beginning on Thursday\, August 27\, 2026 and going for 15 weeks. The course will end on Dec 10\, 2026. The time of the class will be from 4-5:30pm Pacific time. \nThis course is also eligible for Graduate Level Credit that can be used to re-certify or move over on the pay scale. \n-The name for this course is PEDU 9139: Advanced TPRS Storytelling Practicum (1-3 credits). \n-Visit https://teacherfriendly.com/tprs-graduate-level-credit/ for more information and to register.
